Unboxing, charging, pairing, first flights, and safety basics—everything you need to fly your Vantanix drone with confidence.
1. Unboxing Checklist
Make sure all components are included before preparing for your first flight.

2. Charging Your Drone
Charge fully before your first flight to calibrate battery health.

- • Plug the charger into a wall outlet (not USB power banks)
- • LEDs pulse while charging; solid white means fully charged
- • Mini batteries charge in ~55 minutes; Air batteries in ~90 minutes
3. Pairing the Controller
All Vantanix drones auto-bind out of the box. Manual pairing takes seconds.

- Power on the drone.
- Hold the controller’s bind button for 2 seconds.
- The controller will vibrate once when paired.
4. First Flight
Start in an open outdoor space. Avoid trees, metal structures, vehicles, and overhead cables for your first takeoff.

- • Press the takeoff button or push both sticks inward/down to arm
- • Maintain visual line of sight
- • Practice slow, controlled movements first
5. Safety Essentials
- • Stay below 400ft unless authorized
- • Maintain visual line of sight
- • Avoid flying near airports and emergency scenes
- • Replace propellers if visibly damaged
- • Perform a compass calibration in new areas
